Immersion Assembly

Today we are talking about Transformers. This is our theme for the term. 

I missed the start of assembly, but I saw Team 5s play. 

Intro about team 5s play. Mr Wiseman was reading a story on the stage in front of everyone about a girl trapped in a room and her name was Cinderella played by Mr Moran. All team 5 teachers dressed up as a character of the story. My favourite part was when mr Moran was dancing with mrs Ilaoa and mrs Lagitupu and mrs whaea Saf was in the background with a mask on and using a fan thing to cool them down.

Today in writing we learnt about the structure of a simple sentence. the subject and predicate  is a verb. a simple sentence is also known as an independent clause because it contains one complete thought. here’s my Example the cat sat on a mat

today we were learning hoe to take notes from a video. my highlight was watching the video and finding new information. my lowlight was trying to find out why sharks have so many teeth.
